Frequently Asked Questions

Feeling comfortable with your therapist is so important! Before scheduling a therapy session, I do a free 15 minute intro call with all potential new clients. This gives us the chance to get to know each other. Here is what you can expect during this call:
I’ll ask you about why you’re seeking therapy
I’ll tell you a bit about myself and my approach as a therapist
You can ask me any questions that I didn’t cover
We’ll talk about rates, insurance, availability, etc.
If we both decide that it feels like a good fit then we will move forward with scheduling the first session and completing necessary paperwork.
-
When first starting therapy, I ask that all clients commit to weekly sessions. This helps us build a strong base and work towards your goals right away.
I may recommend that we increase or decrease the frequency of sessions to best meet your needs.
-
The first session is focused on getting to know you better. I’ll ask you various questions relating to your life journey and we’ll also discuss your goals for therapy.
